I'm not ready

to go back to work just yet! When people ask how life is with two kids, I always have the same reply: "The shock of having the second baby is not as bad as the shock of having the first." I have certainly enjoyed this maternity leave more than my maternity leave with Charlie. With Charlie I was always worried about his every move...is he pooping too much? is he not pooping enough? why is he making that sound? is his skin supposed to look like that??? Now I know what to expect and I can enjoy all the baby stages and not worry about everything! It also helps that Charlie is at day care part of the week : ) Sometimes I feel bad that he goes away part of the day, but then he does like to go to see his friends, and I don't want to disrupt his routine - especially for when I have to go back to work! Originally I planned to take 14 weeks off, but I think I will add another week or two to that to have more time with Scotty and Charlie - but more importantly to give Scotty more time to reach the "sleep through the night" milestone!
