Saturday night I went out with some girls from work to see the LA Philharmonic perform at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. We went to celebrate Darlene completing her first marathon (back in October.) We had an amazing Italian dinner and then went to the concert at 8:00. This was my first experience of seeing this type of performance and I was blown away! The philharmonic performed pieces from Stravinsky, Khachaturian, and Rachmaninoff. I especially enjoyed the set from Rachmaninoff because the whole orchestra was involved and it overall was a strong and more vibrant piece. I would go again in a heartbeat!
