On Sunday we decided to take Charlie to the beach for the first time. We went to Huntington pier and ate at our favorite place, Ruby's. Then we took Charlie to the water to see how he would react. When he saw the water he first said "bath." We rolled up our jeans and went for the water. Luckily, the waves gently rolled in and allowed Charlie to play. Before we knew it, we were all sandy and soaked! The weather was warm with a slight breeze. When it was time to leave Charlie, in good fashion, screamed all the way back to the sand. Next time when we go we will be more prepared and bring towels, shorts, and baby powder - to get the sand off our skin!
