It has been a while since my last post. I decided to extend my maternity leave by two weeks after I received a call from my work confirming that I would be back on July 13th. Since that call, I decided that I had better take advantage of the rest of my leave. Within those three weeks we went on swimming play dates, I took both boys to the movies to see Ice Age 2, we went to the beach twice, we went to an Angels game during the day, and I walked Charlie to his day care at least twice a week. I've also been in project mode and have recently painted my living room and started a vegetable garden. Hopefully my veggies will grow! I plan on making baby food again and I would love to use home grown vegetables!
Now I am back to work and all of my projects are on the wayside as I am adjusting to work life again. So far the last 2 days have been great! In the next few months I would like to go to the Orange County Fair, the Norco Rodeo, the beach, and to have a beginning of Fall party. I can't wait for my Vegas trip at the end of September! We are going to have a blast and it will be nice to have a break.
